There are several ways for you to support Valparaiso University. Gifts and commitments can be made online, phone, mail, or through other methods, including bequest commitments, charitable annuities, or payroll deduction. Give now by credit card through Valpo’s convenient and secure Online Giving form. Gifts can be made on a one-time basis, as scheduled recurring gifts, or as a perpetual gift.

Donor Advised Fund
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.
How does it work?
- Establish your DAF by making an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program
- Advise the investment allocation of the donated assets (any investment growth is tax-free)
- Recommend grants to qualified public charities of your choice
If you already have a donor advised fund with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or a community foundation, please consider recommending a grant to Valparaiso University. If needed when making a grant recommendation, the Federal Tax Identification Number is 35-0868125.
